One of the reasons that I love designing for weddings is that I get to indulge my girly side – the part of me that loves all things pretty, frilly and pink.

So when I was asked to design wedding invitations for Marie and Nigel’s lace and pink themed wedding, I was over the moon! The happy couple had chosen a lace theme to match Marie’s dress and wanted their wedding to have a soft, floaty and elegantly pretty feel. Which you can bet was right up my alley!

As Marie was also keen to have some ivory/cream in her invitations (and at her wedding) rather than stark white, I incorporated a subtle cream pattern in the background and added pink lace as an accent. Combined with a deep pink envelope and a delicate font, the result was very feminine stationery suite.
