Sunshine Yellow and Sweet Lovebirds

It's been awhile, but I've finally had the chance to emerge from my frantic schedule to update my blog. It's been busy in the lead-up to Christmas and I'm loving it, but boy is it nice to get a little bit of down-time.

I have a new project to share with you today, and it's a beautifully sunny one, created for Daisy and Kawai who got married on the weekend. Talk about whirlwind projects, I think this is the fastest I've ever had to design something - I had only one week from initial request to the wedding date!

Both myself and the lovely Elaine from Butterfly Philosophy (the genius behind the floristry and styling for the wedding) had very similar ideas from the start for Daisy and Kawai's seating chart, so it was easy to begin bringing those ideas to life. Daisy and Kawai wanted a yellow and white seating chart and a matching poster where guests could take polaroid pictures of themselves and peg them up. Their wedding had a bit of a lovebirds theme and so I carried that through their posters, basing the design on their wedding website, which was created by Fish Productions.

I've been wanting to design something in sunshine yellow and white for awhile, so this was such a pleasure to work on.

Many warm congratulations to the happy couple, who despite all the odds (it was pouring buckets in Sydney all week), managed to catch some wonderful sunshine on the afternoon of their big day!

xx
